Terms of use
These terms apply to the FindResto app for diners, made by Myrvo Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17034685), Chandos Business Centre, 87 A Warwick Street, Leamington Spa, CV32 4RJ, United Kingdom. Restaurants have separate business terms.
What FindResto is
FindResto is a comparison app. It compares dishes and restaurants using what verified diners found. Scores are a guide based on those diners. They are not certification, allergy or medical advice, and they are not FindResto's own opinion of a restaurant.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over.
- Keep your PIN private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person.
Price
- Lifetime access costs £1.99 once, through your app store. There is no subscription.
- Founding diners who join before 31 January 2027 get lifetime access free and are never charged later.
- Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their rules. A one-time purchase can be restored free with the same app-store account. This does not affect your legal rights.
Reviews
Reviews must be your own genuine experience of a meal you paid for, backed by a proof of visit. See the Review policy. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. We will tell you why, and you can ask us to look again at [email protected].
The FindResto loyalty card
- Points have no cash value and can't be bought, sold or transferred.
- Points are earned and spent at each restaurant separately. Rewards are chosen and provided by restaurants, never by FindResto, and are never cash.
- A restaurant ending a reward gives 30 days' notice. Reward codes last 30 minutes and work once; unused points come back.
- If a restaurant stops taking the card or leaves FindResto, points there can no longer be used unless it rejoins. We tell you when this happens.
- Reviews never earn points.
Things you must not do
- Post fake reviews, or review a place you own, work at or are paid by
- Use someone else's card, receipt or account
- Copy FindResto's data or scores by automated means
- Misuse the app or try to break its security
Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care to run FindResto well, but menus and kitchens change, and information comes from restaurants and diners. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Changes and law
We will tell you in the app before important changes to these terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
